Tutorial On Manually Adding Music To Your Ipod

1. After plugging in your iPod and opening up iTunes, you should see a screen similar to the one shown below. If you get the register screen you can choose to register your iPod or just have iTunes remind you later. Afterwards this is the screen you should see.

2. On the left hand side you should see the name of you iPod located just above the area where it says "music". Click on the name on your iPod and you should see a screen similar to the one located below. Make sure you have the same fields checked and unchecked as we do below.

3. Now the next thing you do after you have checked and unchecked the required fields as shown above, click on the "Music" tab located below your iPod's name. Now navigate to where your music files are located. In our case we have placed the older on our desktop. Simply right click on the file/folder and hold down the left mouse button and "drag" it over to your iPod music directory and "drop" (let go of the left button) it in there. Your iPod will auto sync and add the files to your iPod manually. Note: In our case we dragged and dropped a folder which contained .mp3 files inside. You can either do this yourself or just drag and drop the .mp3's themselves instead of doing a folder like we did. Either/or will work just fine.

4. Thats it. Its that easy. You can repeat this over and over until you have added all the music you want.
