First Place - Will recieve a cash prize of $100 which is paid via paypal.

How Many Points Do I Get For Each Submission?

We decided that we would award points according to file size. We didnt think it would be fair for a user who submits a single .mp3 to get the same points as a user who submits a video. Here are the following points you will recieve with every approved submission per category:

• Album Submission = 25 Points
• Single Submission = 5 Points
• Video Submission = 30 Points
• Game Submission = 30 Points
• App Submission = 15 Points
• E-Book Submission = 20 Points

I Used to Have Points But Now They're All Gone. Where Did My Points Go?

On the first of every month, we pay out the top 3 winners  and reset everybody's points to 0.

None of the files shown here are actually hosted on Mediahunt's servers. You may not use this site to distribute or download any material in which you do not have the legal rights to do so. This means that links violating copyrights, or other laws, are forbidden and will be removed as soon as we notice. Go back to the page where you orginally got the link for the file and the password should be listed. If it is not, please report the file as having a bad password. You may also report the link if the password is incorrect.

Why Are There Duplicate Results For Albums?

We allow different links for one album so that if one link goes dead, there are still links alive for that album.

After you submit an album it must be approved by the Mediahunt staff. This process usually takes less than a day, but can take up to a few days in rare cases.

This is probably because we denied your link. We deny links for many reasons, but the main reason is that the file was not hosted on a reliable server. Preferred links are from rapidshare, medaupload, depositfiles, and hotfile.

Hello sbratten. To download songs and albums, just visit the download page and you will see links that say "Link(s) to Download Media" ... just copy and paste those links into your browser. You will be re-directed to a hosting company like rapidshare, megaupload, depositfiles, etc. Just download the files as a "free" user.

Make sure you are "Extracting" the content. Most files on Mediahunt are in .rar format so you need to download "Winrar" from http://www.rarlab.com and install it. Once installed, right click on the .rar file and hit "Extract Here".

what does VBR mean?

In simple terms, VBR is just a bitrate (quality) that the cd was ripped (when someone takes and actual cd and makes seperate .mp3 files of each track) at. VBR/GroupRip are gonna be good qaulity albums/singles that will play on your mp3 player/cd and sound just like a store bought cd.
